In this building, the color will change daily thanks to LEDs which capture light intensity during the day and then use this energy to illuminate the building with their respective chromatic colors by night.

We are commissioned to undertake the digital LED Color Study, night lighting, and the leaf-like shadows which are projected throughout the day. For this we reconstructed the hotel entirely in 3D.

Then we made an identical digital LED model with the same properties. Thirdly we adapted these 5000 LEDs in their exact position onto the hotel’s mesh. Finally we did a LEDs simulation of the lighting, shadows and reflections in the real environment, just to see the exact effect on the architecture.
