Villanurbs Test Sculptures

For the Villanurbs project, using as a basis ideas and concepts from Enric Ruiz Geli, we applied our knowledge of visual effects in order for the pieces to be adapted for their engineering. These forms help to improve the ceramic models which are integrated into the architecture of the house.

In order to do this the 3D models by Cloud9 were reconstructed by computer to show exactly how the house will be.

We then used dynamic simulation to generate the rain which falls onto the 3D mesh accumulating in water splashes.

The selected impacts were reconstructed and sculpted using 3D programs, improving their mesh for the machining process of the pieces.
